Security Officer
The Nightingale-Bamford School is seeking to hire a security officer who is responsible for providing safety and security services to students, faculty, staff, and visitors at the Nightingale-Bamford School, a K–12 independent girls’ school in Manhattan. The security officer is also expected to identify and evaluate security issues and to provide quality solutions in order to maintain a safe and secure academic environment. This position reports to the Director of Safety and Security. This is an exempt position.
The schedule is based on a 40-hour work week. The security officer’s actual work hours will be primarily 2:00 p.m to 10:00 pm but may require flexibility depending on the needs of the school.

SALARY RANGE
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $55,000- $60,000 Nightingale considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
